National Moot Court competition were conducted at Rayat Bahra College of Law
– District Session Judge Dilbag Singh Johal and CJM Aprajita Joshi gave important tips to the students.

National Moot Court Competition was organized at Rayat Bahra College of Law in which teams of students from major law colleges of the country participated. Which included Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar, Punjab University Chandigarh, Lovely Professional University, Uttaranchal University – Law College Dehradun etc. Giving information on this occasion, College Principal Dr RN Singh said that Moot Court is a replica of an imaginary court, where law students get a chance to practice court proceedings and debates. He told that the students are made to choose a particular issue or topic by the teachers, and then a debate takes place on this issue/topic, in which the students present their views. Therefore, National Moot Court trials were conducted at Rayat Bahra College of Law. On this occasion, District Session Judge Honorable Mr. Dilbagh Singh Johal and CJM Mrs. Aprajita Joshi specially participated. On this occasion, Campus Director Dr. Chander Mohan welcomed the guests. On this occasion, District Sessions Judge Shri Dilbag Singh Johal told that through Moot Court, law students are taught the manner of appearing in the court, format of pleading, drafting of plaint, court procedure, presentation of cases before the court and advocacy of cases. Knowledge of the art of doing is gained. This method is one of the modern ways of imparting practical knowledge to the students by putting them in an imaginary situation similar to a real court. On this occasion, the students who stood first in the moot court competitions were awarded by the honorable judges. The co-ordinators of this program were Assistant Professor Sukhpreet Kaur and Professor Twinkle Mehta. In the end, Dr. Priyanka Puri thanked the students and guests who had come. Apart from the students, the entire staff of the college was present on this occasion.
